bilingual?

well i found Saige going through her dad's Spanish note cards... it was hilarious to see her turning them over and over. she thought the little cards were oh so fun and was extremely mad at me for putting them up.




OH! And I almost forgot... we went to the doctor yesterday for her 1 yr check up. The doctor came in after she had been weighed and measured and said, "well, she's tall and lean." And I said, "what, she's tall??" I got so excited because she shot up 3 inches since her 9 month check up and is now 29 1/4'' tall. She is in the 55th% for height but only the 7th% for weight - she weighs 17 lbs 10oz. The doctor said she was doing fine and that she is growing on the curve that she needs to be and he also said, and after all someone has to be on that end of the charts. :) Overall it was a good visit and the doctor said that she seemed to be a very pleasant child. That always makes a mama proud! :)
